Owner and Counselor
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with teens, adults, and couples who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationships. I primarily work with individuals in destructive relationships. Whatever your difficulties, I would be honored to walk along side you as you grow, heal, and strive toward your goals.
Counseling Services
Face to Face and Video Counseling are both offered
Telemental Health Counseling
Through audio and video over the internet, you can meet with your clinician from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device.Telehealth allows us to connect anywhere with secure appointments that save you time and hassle. There's no need to deal with traffic when you can schedule and attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device. This is a great option for those in rural areas.
Individual Counseling
teens and adults
At Lamplight Counseling, we offer counseling for individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and/or trouble with interpersonal relationships.
Couples Counseling
marital and premarital
If both people in the relationship are interested in growth and change, Lamplight Counseling offers Couples counseling. Together we can develop a treatment plan based on the specific needs of the couple.
Through Prepare and Enrich, Lamplight Counseling also offers Premarital Counseling.
Marital Counseling is Sometimes Not Recommended
Marital therapy is not recommended when one of the partners has a pattern of abuse or addiction issues
Christian Counseling
In the Holy Bible, Jesus Christ is referred to as the great counselor. If you are looking for counseling from a Christian perspective, Lamplight Counseling can incorporate scripture and the Christian worldview into the counseling process. However, if you would not like spiritual or religious ideas to be a part of the counseling process, it can be left out of entirely.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE Information:
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
